COMING TO REST
An online course in body/mind training
We are all searching for a way to come to rest. When our minds are ceaselessly active and never seem to find a place of stillness, we recognise the need for change. This change requires that the body becomes calm and relaxed, only then can the mind come to stillness.
This body/mind connection will be the focus of these introductory classes where you will learn effective tools to bring about a state of relaxation, working with breathing and simple physical exercises to gently help the body unwind and calm the mind.
Cultivating these fundamental skills leads to a life which is happier, healthier and free from agitation.
The teacher, Paul Taylor has been teaching for over 30 years, having trained under renowned Zen master John Garrie Rōshi. His teaching style is practical and compassionate, providing a contemporary practice that integrates classical meditation with our modern lifestyle.
